Hydrant Buddy is the industry’s most powerful, lightweight, cordless variable speed, electric, valve operation tool designed to operate both hydrants and gate valves.

Powered by a Milwaukee industrial motor and custom engineered gearbox, Hydrant Buddy is up for any task.  A DeWalt powered version is available in our other listings. Weighing only 23 pounds it improves ease-of-use and productivity, while reducing operator fatigue and chance for injury. The long last battery operates approximately 15-20 hydrants before needing a quick 30 minute charge.

Alternate Sockets:

The kit comes with an adjustable Pentagon hydrant operating nut socket. Alternate sockets for 13/16″, 7/8″, 1″, and 1-1/4″ square are available. A 3-point triangular shape socket is also available. A 2″ Valve key stock socket is available for operating valves without a long key. Items market *SO are special order and may take extra shipping time.  A 3/4″ female x 1″ drive adapter is also available to convert the hydrant buddy to a 1″ drive for tapping machines or other equipment using 1″ drive sockets.
