Trudon is best known as the world’s oldest candlemaker still active today. Part of Trudon’s Nuit Rouge collection, Midnight Omen is a richly layered woody amber fragrance that captures the magnetic pull of the night. It opens with luminous mandarin, soft peony and a touch of saffron, creating a bright, almost shimmering contrast against the darkness suggested by its name.
As the fragrance develops, a heart of iris-like orris, violet, leather and cashmeran unfolds — velvety, textured and quietly intense. This is where Midnight Omen shows its true character: enigmatic, sophisticated and undeniably sensual.
In the base, amber woods, patchouli, musks and moss create a warm, lingering trail that feels like an echo of midnight – deep, enveloping and hard to forget. Conceived as an omen, the composition plays on the fine line between attraction and danger, leaving a powerful and intriguing sillage.
