Village is a series of works on paper and canvas by Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck that reflects on community, rural life, and the quiet rhythms of coexistence. Inspired by lived experiences and observations of village environments—particularly in England, France, India and Japan—the series captures moments of shared labour, seasonal cycles, and the gentle poetics of everyday life.
